Sometimes Snacks are just too bland!

We discovered that here in Lyon France everyone seems to like sweet snacks, yet we are more accustomed to salty snacks, chips, popcorn, pretzels, such things like these...

But so many little cakes, pastries, cookies..

It can be unless purchased FRESH from an actual bakery, it can overwhelm you...

But fresh produce is ALSO in abundance here in the city,

and THAT we have learned one can make the most of...

Here is a display my daughter did!

We were discussing how important the French people find presentation in the Culinary Arts

She took it very seriously during her turn at getting snacks ready!
